Yes, and the DOCX would not have. Browsers ship a decoder for JPEG and none for DOCX, so a DOCX link forces a download while a JPEG renders inline. That is usually the deciding factor when the file is going onto a web page rather than into an application. JPEG is the extension most cameras, scanners and Unix-origin software prefer, and it is universally recognised.
Can I convert only part of the DOCX instead of all of it?
