Does the Kindle preserve EPUB CSS styling (italics, bold, drop caps)?

Reflowable ebooks are not pixel-perfect by design — each reader chooses its own font, margins, and line spacing. The Kindle contains the same content as the EPUB; visual differences come from the reader app, not the conversion. Use a fixed-layout target if pixel fidelity matters.
