A PSD file with strong compression (e.g. heavily lossy JPG) often grows when re-encoded to a lossless SVG (PNG, TIFF), and a high-bitrate lossless PSD often shrinks dramatically when going to JPG / WebP. The ratio depends on image content (photos compress differently from line art).

Can I use the converted SVG file commercially?

Yes. The conversion is a format change — copyright on the image content stays with you (or whoever held it on the source PSD). We add no watermark, no metadata stamp, and claim no licence over the output.
